up until today the weather here in phuket has been great. today it has been raining all morning.

When I received visitors heading to the beach in august, I usually advice the Gulf instead of the Andaman because chances or rain in the middle of the raining season are slightly lower.

In any case, if you can live with some shower on the beach (which can be actually quite romantic) monsoons here are not that bad than ohter countries

Im in Phuket right now, the weather has been good but it did rain very heavy for a couple of hours this morning. Its cleared up now so bring your bikini

Yes wait a couple of weeks it will be much safter to go to Phuket then...Nothing to do with the weather, just I AM GEORGE will have left by then!!

Even it it rains it wont be for long so enjoy the holiday and have fun. I am sure you will. P.S. I went to Trang last year and hated it. I never thought I would not like a place so much. Maybe it was just me.

Trang was o.k. but the hotel was terrible as it had been flooded two months before and I was the only resident. I had booked it in BKK and it looked good but on arrival I was very disappointed. There was no hot water in the shower, A C did not work and I felt like the guy in the film "The postman always rings twice". That's what put me off but everything else was o.k. apart from no night life at all. Everything seemed to close about 10pm. Cannot reply on messeges as I have used up my quota for the day. How can you upgrade if you don't have a visa card. I only have a charge A.T.M card and that's no use???? The money is no object but how to pay??
