Good day fellow members,I find myself in an awkward situation where my credit card (visa) has been denied by Airasia.  It is the same visa card I used to book my hotel stays and that was accepted.  My bank can not explain it and Airasia has no idea why it has been denied?!?I am wondering whether anyone had a similar experience recently.And if so, what did you do to resolve the problem!!!  

Its a bastard Cosmo, they deny my bloody credit cards all the time, I just get a friend to book it for me with a Thai credit card!

the first time : I put the wrong code (3 digits)

the 2nd time : I tried to switch to Firefox and it worked

the 3rd time : said the card was denied for NO reasons (no explanation from my bank/Asia Asia)

Sassy: where have u been...busy?!?.....as to the situation, I know what you mean, I tried online and then calling Thailand to book by phone...still no success!!!....feeling helpless right now....can u imagine a situation you will not be able to get to where you want to go, after having paid for the hotel room!!!.....sheesh!!!

I never booked with Airasia before but I heard about the card was denied by this company either. Please make sure it wasn't deduct from your credit. Friend of mine warn me about this trouble but his credit was deduct already and he had to try to refund his money back. Ensure it isn't happen with TFer.

Don't expect much with low cost airlines

Rob: I know what you mean...I am getting a bit frustrated by their response so far..fortunately, I am only using them for domestic travel within Thailand....I am booked with BA out of Australia.....but now I am leaning towards another domestic airline within Thailand.

Air Asia is a chain airline... why they have such a low service performance?? I never book it, I like the colourful airplane of Nok Air..

Try it again, because I was Japan at a hotel overnite.........paid my breakfast with my cc, it was okay.....then at checkout, the desk said my cc was not valid? I think it was just a computer glitch...., they should have ran it again........arrived in Thailand, and no problem with my cc.......

I think it could be caused by reason's Rob said before.. After a couple of tries a credit card will be blocked when the wrong information (misspelling) was send for verification.. In that case Air Asia should unblock your creditcard...

I booked my airfare with airasia and I had no problem had to wait a few mins for the booking to go through, check your statement first van I booked a flight with jetstar and they rejected my mastercard but they still took my money out and it took 3 weeks to get it back!!!! good luck mate!!!
