I have been writing too many looooongggggg journals.
not even sure if anybody reading it.

cut and past something and hoping some might like it.

Okay and I was expecting a lame ass journal about how you falling in love with some under age boy from far far away land. Gosh!"

well it kinda was about falling in love with some under age boy from far far away land... no wait, he's 17...

and DAVID COOK OWNED HIM! HAH!

I read you... (except for those unilingual Thai journals ).

But I have to be honest, even though David Archuleta had a great voice and stole the last show, I still prefered the other David. I also have yet to see a former (...) Idol performer who is able to make a long lasting truly interesting solo career.

nantida: Blake Lewis finished second, same as David Archuleta.

MAZZY: many former idol types are doing pretty well, but it's true that many end up being dropped from their label. can't think of another similar show in the history of the US market where so many came out of nowhere and did as well as the idol alums have in terms of releasing records and actually having them sell, etc.

the show is not just a hit but a cultural phenomenon.

whether it's changing music for the worse is debatable. there are some who would say it's weeding out the next bob dylan or whatever but i doubt it. punk exploded when mainstream music became petrified, that sort of thing goes in cycles. and the prefab nature of AI competitors isn't any worse than the calculated, prefab nature of boy bands in the 90s.

whether it's changing music for the worse is debatable.(that's an opinion) there are some(only some...not many) who would say it's weeding out the next bob dylan or whatever but i doubt it (definately). punk exploded when mainstream music became petrified(opinion again), that sort of thing goes in cycles (only if you ride a bike). and the prefab nature of AI competitors isn't any worse than the calculated, prefab nature of boy bands in the 90s.(possibly better?)

He's a star...even without a career
