I know this is not really the place to post, but I am bored in my office and wanted to do a 'shout' for my son Scoot who is just about to finish his 2 week intensive fire training course. Tomorrow is his last day and he passed his written test this morning, the test is based on what he has learned over the past 2 weeks. When he came home last weekend I was horrified at the state of his ankles which were red raw with terrible blisters. He suffered worse than anybody else on the course but (and credit to him for this) never complained to his trainers, partly because he is not a softy and partly because he worried that if he did they would not let him finish the course. SO CONGRATS SON!! BEERS ARE ON ME THIS WEEKEND!!
