I decided next time I go to Thailand I would fly the cheapest so I did silly mistake that was, got to Avalon AP in Melbourne (jetstar) to fly to Sydney to go to Phuket!!!!   Well the flight to Sydney was cancelled no explanation they then said we can get you a Quantas Flight to Sydney but you have to go to Tullamarine the main AP in Melb, as luck would have it a guy said he would drive me there!!!( taxi)100 aussie dollars to Tullamarine.I get to AP they put my bag on the plane to Sydney and that was the last I saw it I am now in Phuket with no luggage no clothes no nothing (but at least I had money to buy some singha) latest update they said it would arrive today!!!!   Have a good weekend everybody and to top it off I have an infection in my left eye!!!!  Cheers

Any airlines can have a cancelled flight, if it's a mechanical problem, would you feel comfortable to fly onwards without them repairing the problem? Hell no!!!!!

No clothes at your final destination? Gives you a chance to shop for new clothes.........!! lol

Clothes are replaceable and very cheap in Thailand any way

Ummm...I thought that if an airline cannot provide you the checked luggage at the destination, they have to pay enough for a change of clothes and some toothbrush and washing/shaving gear. I went to Raiyadh a few years ago and Lufthansa lost my luggage for a day, so I told them to pay me enough to buy clothes and washing gear as I had meetings in the morning...they did.

Good luck...oh...by the way...a note to Wallace...I REALLY don't want to see Dave's bare ass...suntanned or otherwise...haha!
