Yes, guttes2 is right. The people who don't like you or who are just plain as$holes, will be the ones who vote, just to give you a bad rating. Most people don't vote at all. Some very close friends may give you a good rating if they see your picture on the community page . . . but you can't even count on that. Best to just shut it off.
