This year begins not so bad as may be :) I was happy to travel around Thailand and Cambodia, meet many people and have a nice time.I still have many things to do and keep fingers crossed for, but this week I was pay for air tickets to Bangkok. If moon and earth will be on their places, I will arrive in BKK 14 June 2008 early morning, I will travel whole my BD day, 13 June.I already plan for BD event and wish to invite my TF friends. But, I'm not sure about the place, and my knowledge about BKK bars or restaurants are very limited. And I'm far away now to look and check place by myself. And, I need advice from you, my TF friends - which bar or restaurant you recommend for party?I was been in Absolute7 and find bar are very good with live music and 2-nd floor, which is very suitable for party? Or another recommendations? Thank you for advice. p.s. We decide not to come to Thailand whole family, Son is so small and long trip will be no good for him. And sometimes we need to have a relax time from each other, so wife will go with son and friends and their children's to nearest resort on Black or Mediterranean sea.

i don't believe in separate holidays with my family.......they either come with me, or i go with them.........but each to their own.......if that makes you happy, then enjoy............

Thai people with average salary, they cannot afford the sukumvit places.

Oh wow.... as Thai I think can afford it not too much ... and for cutie ladies, I guess you will be ready to treat them. lolzzz...

Anyway bigcat, my opinion I don't like the kinda loudy places... It's hardly to talk, may be nice dinner somewhere and then bars after that. There are cool and nice restaurant in soi Thonglor.

Well, it's just a grandma thought.
