you have good budget.........i never visit koh samet, so i can t help you. if you want search in the site of "asianroom", you will find a lot of hotel and resort and you can make reservations too . have funny trip!!!

I stay at Naga Bungalows. Room with air about 700B a night. maybe cheaper for Thai people. Very good restaurant and the beach right outside....

I am going there next weekend too. I normally stay at the bangalow on Wongduan Beach but I have to look for their business card. It cos around 1-1.2K and its right on the beach.

Ok I found it. Its Vongduern Villa on Vongduern beach. Tel: 038652300 or 0818639868. I have this number long time ago and haven't checked if still valid. They have many small one level bangalow right on the beach and next to the pier. I took friends from Singapore there and they loved this place as its clean and convenient.
