2 weeks ago Andy shown me a poster at the hotel... He pointed at the poster and said "I wanna see this" It was Siamniramit poster.... "Oh, no kidding! you wanna see that show??" I said "Yes, why not? I've seen from youtube and somewebsite, it's so beautiful" he said. "It's expensive and I'm not sure it as good as you think, but if you still wanna see I will find out more detail" I said.I searched google about Siamniramit, posted about this topic in www.pantip.com and asked people who had seen the show.. many people said "It's good to take farang to see" well, ok.So funny Siamniramit theater wasn't far from my place, like 5 mins drive, I always drive pass there, but it's not interested me at all. I think it's place for tourists. (that's true) I called Siamniramit to get more detail, 1500 baht / person. If you have mastercard you can get discount, If you have MRT (subway train) card you can get 200 baht discount... (good I have it)290 baht / person for dinner (Eat with Chinese tourists, HELL NO!!)Plus Van from MRT to Siamniramit, and Siaminramit to MRT.Show start at 8 pm. and I can buy tickets at the theaterWe arrived there about 6 pm (I wanted to make sure that we can get tickets) I was supposed to take Andy to a nice restaurant around there, but the theater staff told us that we can see the exhibition inside plus outdoor show will start at 7 pm. So we better grab something from 7-11 at a gas station across the street.Ok let's take a look what they got.PhotobucketAndy and the tickets, behind him place for dinner PhotobucketOk! we gonna go inside. PhotobucketTake pictures PhotobucketThai classical music all along PhotobucketCooking showPhotobucketRow Row Row your boat.PhotobucketPhotobucket Making Thai silk PhotobucketPhotobucketOutdoor Show PhotobucketPhotobucketKhon, Ramayana.... ˹ØÃÒ¹ (Hamuman, Monkey) ¹Ò§ÊØÇÃóÃѨ©Ò (Nang Suwan Mucha, Golden Fish) FYI: Every pics I didn't use flash... ISO 800 and Anti Shake mode After the outdoor show, we have 20 mins before get in the theater. We couldn't bring camera in there. Many people go for camera deposit but I trust my car... hehe. The theater was so nice... stage was so great!! It's worth to see....jing jing. You should see it yourself if you have time.

I walked there from the MRT station, not far, but you better have good directions as there is no place to ask people where to go. There are some signs.

Bastards were closed for VIP party. I heard it is great.

Been there with my beau, I'd say I was very impressed with their show. Too bad the ticket is very expensive for Thai and maybe Asian standard. Otherwise, there would be more individual tourists visiting the place.

I didn't get any nice photos like that though.... the old camera that I got was quite stupid. Not that the one I have is that much smater though. :-P

Thanks for sharing!

Funny you should mention about Chinese tourists. My husband & I used to have breakfast at a hotel with them. It's a turture moment. They were so loud and food was every where, it's on the floor, on the table..you name it. We try to avoid being at the same restaurant with them as much as we can. Sorry Chinese tourists.

>>> I think I better post forum about it.

>>> ja The ticket is so expensive, I have seen only 2 Thai people there. I mean 2 Thai people who just go by themselves, I didn't count the Thai to take farang there (like me)
