Some of my old photos of Thailand

In 2 weeks I'll be finishing out my current work contract and heading north to Vancouver, British Columbia to play some shows, do some recording, and hang out with my best friend. And after that it's back to Thailand! After working so many 50 -60 hour work weeks I can't wait!

Living in Thailand in 2006 is the experience that really formed my love of photography as I had just bought a Canon Powershot S1 IS before moving there and I found myself continually fascinated and amazed by what I was seeing around me.

So I'd like to share some of my old photos of Thailand. Not the best that I've taken as I was just learning (and was using a 3.1 megapixel cam) but I was having the time of my life while taking them. 309592898_b23df74fd8_o.jpg262135886_07aecc43e6.jpg298198830_66fd0f7a55_o.jpg361284385_a3a287fcaf_o.jpg236678111_f8c99e77eb.jpg451141141_b659601b37_o.jpg 292399207_99186e65bf_o.jpg296262972_9ebf237c70_o.jpg330845290_08f27eb10a_o.jpg390069718_33b90feeb7.jpg361284444_85a496e4a1_o.jpg391063139_a8738c8595_o.jpg391869348_258c247ccc_o.jpg456953816_091a8f55ae_o.jpg341544149_3666eaf961_o.jpg415981741_f8097f83b7_o.jpg454578022_ebbde6c825_o.jpg273178908_66e8f4214b_o.jpg245291687_d105dcbd94_o.jpg380661187_b578e4de36_o.jpg475710320_15238dfcea_o.jpg494975908_fc4e8ee972_o.jpg323281625_6f5b27df40_o.jpg362388843_0cd7c42bfb_o.jpg

Thanks for sharing and the technical info too!

I am sure all TFers interested in photography appreciate this.

Poul and Elegant consistently produce good results too but Poul is a professional!

pLuM: It was just a very dramatic sunset refracting through a passing storm cloud during the monsoon season, I took it from the roof of my old apt building in Saphan Kwai and was facing to the south-west as the sun went down.
