I've been fairly busy trying to find a apartment that's both affordable but nice (harder than one might think!) but have been taking some photos along the way. Here's a few from the last 5 days in Bangkok.

Japamerican: Mai pen rai khab. I hadn't thought of that at all actually, I 'm looking for somewhere between 5,000 - 9,000 BHT a month with either a month to month contract or a 3 month contract. I only need a studio. A balcony and a pool would be excellent, but quiet and a good internet connection and close to the MRT or BTS are more desirable.

i was looking for somewhere between 5,000-9,000 bht like you about 5-6 months ago. i gave up cos i just dont wanna stay in bkk. i decided to have round trip from khonkaen to bkk. not far, just 6 hours by bus ;-)

I've seen a few places, but they've been full of course...

well.. according to my job, the longest that i have to be in bkk is only a week or a few days. rest of a month i'll be in northern and a week in khonkaen. so 5000 - 9000 bht a month for my round trip to khonkaen is (probably) FINE:P

OMG: Oh my god, they were so freaking cute. I was room hunting up in Ratchada today and they saw me walking by with my camera and came running out towards me yelling "Farang! Farang!!! take our picture!!! I did and they'd strike these perfect poses as if they had been practicing and then would come over to look at the pic in my camera and would say "Oooohhhhh" So cute that my head almost exploded.

may i ask where that pool is? is it with an apartment? how much?

joefarang: It's behind the Unesco building on Sukhumvit a couple of blocks east of the Thong Lor BTS on the south side, it costs 50 baht to swim in (or free if you get there early enough) and the water is perfect, not to much or too little chlorine.

Si66bkk: In plain English it's the low end of the high end 55555 Meaning the entry point Canan dSLR. 10.1 Megapixels, fairly light. It's quite nice for the price range and as it's my first dSLR I'm very happy with it, though now I've had a taste I really want one of the more expensive Canans. The lack of grain on the night shots come from being able to use a lower ISO on the camera body because the Canon lens I'm using both has wide/fast aperture and also some very sweet image stabilization which makes a LOT of difference.
