This is second hand info . . . so I'm not sure how true this is . . . but I hear the police are still at it.  Gassing protesters and killing 2 people.  I hear they have even attacked the Queens Army personel working at a hospital.  Doctors are saying that it's not normal tear gas . . . that it's stronger and burns more . . .  Has anyone heard anything about this??

Imagine what would have happened to PAD, if it were in Europe... or even in China ;-)

They break the law and ruin our country.

PS: Police they gassed those PAD but please also find out what PAD did to the police WHISKER.

I'm just like many of you. I do not have first hand information. I know that PAD blocked a street this morning which started all this kaos . . .

it's still not a good idea for any government to attack it's own people . . . a heavy hand never works and only makes things worse.

Yes I watch live TV all the time, they shot the ambulances, the moderator tried to tell police to stop shooting tear gas and let ambulance get in, let the nurses get in to help the injured ppl who were in the area.

I never know power of tear gas strong enough to cut legs, arms and toes...

Dr.Porntip Rojanasunan, DSI said from the wound not from the tear gas.

how about this story? " In a tear gas attack most victims end up prone or doubled over. This puts the upper body as close to the ground as the legs, yet all the injuries were to the legs. This suggests to me that the explosives were being carried next to these legs. As to why so many of these HE pocketfuls exploded, they are pressure sensitive, when a tear gas grenade explodes it creates a pressure wave in the immediate area. (Look up "bomb disposal controlled explosions") I wonder how many pocketfuls of HE did not explode because the carrier was outside a pressure zone. "

it can be 100% possible, cant be? (Gen. Panlop)

I suggest you to just sit down relax and read the news... Means no more 2nd hand informations!

Sooner or later you will find out whether "COMPROMISE" will work with PAD. ;-)

Why don't you ask who started. PAD. just sat and stand in front of the parliament, no one climb up and no one tried to get in there... and suddenly, tear gas shot out.. yeah it's true, that's the standard... but why didn't they try something softer than that?

Once violence started, ppl got angry and started to fight back, and it's never ending story.

You have to see this evening, how police threw out the tear gas like crazy. PPL there were university students.

Why don't you ask who started. PAD."

just very simple, if you wanna know who started .. who stormed NBT, who illegally occupied Gov House and last night who went to Parliament House?

... in most other countries, it would be over for long already.

Leaders of the PAD, the PPP leadership and polcie commanders need to take more responsibility otherwise extremists in all camps will increasingly dictate events.

The actions of the police is not planning for an obvious protesting target with the new Cabinets policy speech by locking down the parliament area 24 hrs before seem intentional in not negligent. Basic intel and planning would have led to ensuring the PAD could not move as they did last night. Surely other options could have been canvassed being the use of disproportionate force?

Poor tactics and training by the police this morning only maximised casulties on both sides injuring civilians but also exposing police to their own gas. Was a warning given, why did some police discharge canisters at close range and why were police without masks exposed to the gas?

Escalations in the afternoon seemed irresponsible by all after the 'agent provacuteur' style car bombing when such an incident should have resulted in a brokered de-escalation of tensions and gradual withdrawl.

Reports of 1 police officer being stabbed by a pole style implement and 3 police being shot are deeply disturbing (although we should await the facts being drawing any conclusion as to who was responsible). Likewise reports by medical staff of200+ injured, with 4 leg amputations of PAD injured and some injuries more consistent with explosive style devices are very concerning.

Prays to all the PAD and police who were injured. Hopes that tomorrow brings a day of peace.

I only know what I hear and see on TV about the circumstances in Thailand, but I have extensive experiences over the years with Coups in the Philippines

and its ok to say PAD are this and PAD are that, but in reality they are opposition to the government.

Non violant protests are fine but even in Australia you need a permit to protest and block off roads.(They are public roads) and all should be able to use!

It seems though that sizeable protests seem to get out of hand and go over the top.

I feel for all Thai's as I can see & feel their division and there are many reasons for that, but surely deaths and war amongst their own people is not the

answer. I prey for you all.

Im sick of it,,, I never support Samak but when he was talking about the situation when he was still in charge... I really agreed with him when he said that who are they that the whole country wil have to listen or get their approval to do anything (refer to that they said they wont stop protest if new PM is someone connected to Taksin or PPP).

If the Government/Police/Army do something with PAD then they will say that its not fair and why Army/Police fight with ppl with no arms... so government side (include police and army)should let them stay there forever. I dont know if which one is worst, having a PM that come from the party that seem no one want but he take a place anyway (bless democracy!) or having protesters at the government house for months like this.

I believe there are someone paying money... but they wont walk around to pay anybody... someone in my family were there and got some money but again I didnt talk to her directly.. not a 1st hand info either.

Seems from the out side looking in on the situation Military Rule was better, but no one wanted that either.

Its a very divided situation but if the new government gets put under to much pressure thats what will happen again surely.
