Last night Phong and I joined up with some neighbors and ventured to the local Obithor(Town Hall) near our home to celebrate the King's Birthday.  There were hundreds of people there along with food and other types of vendors.  We were entertained by some of the local school children, who danced and sang for us.  At one point, fireworks were shot off from two directions, exploding directly over my head . . . it was quite a sight!!  Meanwhile, candles were passed around to everyone as we honored the King on his birthday.  Here are some photos we took of this very pleasant evening . . .
