Pai from the sky

I visited Thailand in November 2008. As always I headed for a few weeks to the North and Chiang Mai. Bruce had the good idea to visit Pai. Which I can recommend to everyone if you're in the North.Because Bruce left earlier and I wanted to stay a  few days longer I decided to take a plane back to Chiang Mai. I know that the windy toad down to Chiang Mai is worth the 3 to 4 hours on a bus, but I'v' done that before. And I wanted to go for something different. It' was a long time ago that I did fly with such a small plane (a Cessna Grand Caravan 208Bs), but it's like real flying. I enjoyed it very much. Here's a clip I made of the flight.

The plane's duck mouth is smiling big times :)

I've been to Pai 4 times now, the first time back in 1992, and I love the place - missing more than ever.

Hope to see you again soon, take care!
