GuGu the Panda takes down another one!

What’s with these people (always men) who climb into GuGu the panda’s enclosure and get their ass kicked? A while back, someone climbed into GuGu’s cage to get a hug, and GuGu being very heterosexusl, I guess, wasn’t having any of that stuff, so he worked the intruder over. Then a tourist got into the cage only to be attacked; then yesterday a man got into GuGu’s cage to retrieve a toy his kid had dropped (how did that happen?) in the cage.

This reminds me of friends who hired a known irresponsible alcoholic to housesit for a week. When they returned home, the alkie had allowed the dogs to have the run of the house; the cat had done a crap on the bed, and all the steaks in the freezer had been thawed and eaten, and this was just for starters. A TV was missing, stuff (probably red wine) had been spilled on the carpert, and the computer wasn’t working right. When I asked the alkie (whom we all have known for many years) what was he thinking, he said: “Well, they told me to make myself at home, so I did.”

My take on GuGu is that he is very pissed off at being a prisoner. He wants to be free to do the stuff pandas do, and along comes people and put him in a cage. So every chance he gets, he takes it out on any fool who gets into his cage.

Kudos to GuGu!

Stupid is as stupid does.

Yes, Peter:

I hear you about that "strange female" thing. There have been times my brother set me up with a girl, and boy, oh boy, I had to wonder what the hell was he thinking by selecting such a specimen and expecting me to get it on with her? Yes, even pandas have their taste in women pandas, I guess, and the females have theirs too.

I didn't know about the bamboo shoots.
