I found this site on the web. It can be very useful if you don't know how to pronounce a word or sentence correct. It's supporting a lot of languages, even Chinese and Basque. Pity no Thai. You can even learn how to speak Irish English (and maybe understand them later too Cool). It's very simple: chose your language, just type the word or sentence and push on 'say it'. you can also chose in some languages different kinds of pronouncation like Dutch (Belgium) and Dutch (The Netherlands). It's an easy tool, just try it: http://www.oddcast.com/home/demos/tts/tts_example.php?sitepal

PS You can even try to let him/her speak in your local dialect and let him/her say dirty words. I tried it already Laughing.

argh, I hate myself for this, but I have to tell you - for the noun it's pronunciation, not pronOUnciation - for spelling and for that way it's pronounced... it's a mistake you can hear made over and over again, not least by native speakers who get the noun form wrong all the time --- ok, pedantry session over, thanks :)

Chitwang and hollywood_bkk >>>>>>>> thanks for the correction, it's something I didn't know (like a lot of other things) ......... but I work with Firefox and have the English spellingchecker on it and it did accept 'pronouncation', although in the English dictionary it's written 'pronunciation' ........ thanks anyway
