I'd like ask you guys idea and have more information how's different and beautiful between both island. If you were me where the place you want to visit more ( in case one night by island)? any recommend is very welcome:)

It depends... if you want to relax Surin island sounds better... not too quiet not too loud.

Similan island is a more popular tourist destination.

I heard that Similan Island is the most fantastic Island for Diving... Check your activity which one is matched with you ...

If i wanted to go for a peaceful and great time

then I would choose to pick a place with little tourist and people, and walk far along the beach untill I find a place thats empty and go there with my friends and enjoy!

I went diving in Similan in 07. The islands are beautifu, stunning,l but the reef i was taken to wasn't so good.

I think I went diving around island 7,8, and 12 or something (dont remember right now). Im sure there must be lots of great places to dive but the reef is still recovering from the tsunami.

And Ive never had the pleasure to go to surin island.

Have fun whichever you decide to go to.

For diving, you should go to Similan.

For snorkeling, you should go to Surin.

Both places are great, but it's true that Similan island is lots of tourists, but it depends on the months if you are lucky.

For Surin island, it is very nice, it' s more quiet, and you can see and enjoy people there.
