If you pretty much hate boy bands and other pre-fab soul-searching music, you'll love this. This is by the same guy, Spanish Mike, who made the "One semester of Spanish love song." This guy is a genius at ripping on musical genres.

Actually, the Monkees weren't even a band -- it was just a show. But I think what he's ripping on now is that the bands now have no signature sound. I mean, if you hear a Beatles, Stones, Aerosmith, Rush, or Van Halen song, you know right away who they are. The song I posted here sounds like, well, all of the boy bands out there now. Having said that, a lot of the rock bands out now are Nickelback clones. Seems like so many people now are trying to sound like the masses, instead of aiming at originality and individuality.
