Bakasyon Grande de Pilipinas!:)!
What's bakasyon? It's a Filipino term for Vacation, Yes, friends. I went back home for my niece's graduation. She's a nurse now. Hopefully, she'll pass the board exam so she can be a registered nurse. Graduation is one of the biggest celebrations in our country. It's done once a year only, usually in March or April. So, if you don't comply all the requirements for graduation, you have to wait for another year. That's the reason why most university students really take their studies seriously. (***And they don't wear micro mini skirts..hahaha) .Anyways, i really had a great time with my family and friends.Take a look at the pics.
This is Ice, my beloved niece. She's getting ready for her graduation! With her Mommy, Aunt, cousins and classmates. After graduation, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Of course, the whole family members were there. After dinner, my nephew drove us to Smallville. It's exactly like RCA.Many university students (who have money ) go there on weekends. So, that night, I felt like a university stud again.hehehe! We went to a Mexican inspired bar called MO2. It's soo unique. Look at the ceiling fan.heheheehe! And their drinks and foods are soo cheap. I ordered Margarita, pizza, San Miguel, and baked macaroni. I paid only something around B600.Cool! It was only a girl's night out (lol) so my nephew patiently waited for us. We went home at around AM. As expected the gate of our house was closed coz we went home very late. So, my nephew had to climb up the gate.555! My parents are still very strict. Grrrrrrrrr! Believe it or not, I used to do this.hehehehe! I spent one night in Manila. So, I took the chance to visit Mall of Asia. God, it's sooo huge. It's the second largest mall in the world. I think , the area stretches from SIAM Paragorn to Central World. Soooooo gigantic. These are my Filipino friends John and Wee. If not for their kindness, I'd have slept at the international airport coz I missed my flight to my city. I stayed at their house for a night. When I was in my city I became very observant. I went to a grocery store, and I observed that there are lots of cheese in our country. And they're very very cheap. Even the imported ones. Like this cheese ball from Holland. It's big but it's only B800 something. But here, it costs more than B2000.
