Rude IM Behavior

Other than people asking you to show your body parts via web cam list some rude IM behavior you have encountered?

My favorite is I am talking with Asians (they also live in Asia) I know in the real world and next thing I know they change there status to "Away" or "Busy". No notice or anything and I am sitting there like an A-hole waiting for them to come back. Many times they never come back. Is this just an Asian thing or is it universal?

Thats not just Asian people mate thats everyone.... sometimes were working and have to go immediattely or have other priorities... changing the status is a sign that they at least considerred to let you know.... be greatful.!

A strange girl just comes online and says hi. After a few polite formalities, comes out with a sob story, and asks you for money to help her.

We had a regular here named Dao, that used to do that.

i hate it when you start having a conversation with someone and 5 minutes in they start telling you about a sick family member and how they have no money to eat.....blah blah blah....can you help me?????

"how can i help" i ask.........next minute all the details for a western union money order appear.....when you say you have no money there gone in 2 seconds.......does anyone ever get sucked in by these people.....really.....they have no money but they have a computer and can afford the net.....and you can see on the web cam they have a nice house.....but most of all.....if things are that bad, what are they doing on the net.....go get a job.............i think these are rude people on the net

Well if it's in the middle of an "active" conversation it's just rude !

I faced this problem also with some rare girls, fortunately most are polite.

Though, if you were exchanging a word every 10 minutes, that's not what I call a conversation.

In this case, no need to tell you go away, as the other doesn't seem so interested in the actual conversation.

Also it depends on her location, was she at work or at home ?

If she's at work, I find it normal to focus more on work than on chat...

These were not just one word replys I was getting or 5 minutes between replies. These were real conversations with people I actually know....some from college who I have kept in touch with, some friends of friends, etc. I agree about some people at work, but when I know they are working and see them on line I either don't IM them or are very mindful they are at work not play. I can see those people quickly flicking to busy or away.

Forgot about those asking for money IMs.

If i were you, I wouldn't be troublesome about what are they doing, why are they away, why are you kept waiting..

Instead of thinking about 'them' with their status..pretty much i'd think..what the heck did i just do to offend that person!!!

it takes two to tango and sometimes the other person is nowhere but there just doesnt wanna talk with you

It is amazing that some women here actually think that men are so stupid just to trust them and send money, like u say within three sentences they ask for some kind off help, study, family is sick etc.

I wonder what the reaction will be if men ask for money.

80-90% is like that and when u not willing to oblige to their request they just stop talking.

To the 10% good woman out their i take my hat off.I have made some good honest friends here (men and woman)
