In doubt...weather situation in July ?

I will never do 1 week in thailand again, the agony of coming back is way to much for just one week away.

I settled on going back 3-4 weeks in July - but now im starting thinking if its stupid ? i mean the weather last week wasnt exactly what i would categorize as "nice".

It was rainy (that was actually the nice part when it did) - but it was also for my scandinavian body - pretty hot and humid - but maybe you get used to that in 4 weeks ?

If anybody reads this - will the weather get worse (by worse i mean, hotter and even more damp) or will it get abit colder (and still damp) or will it get less humid the next following months in Thailand ?

I know the best season is nov->march, but rarely i can travel at this time as this is my peaktime workwise, and too busy for that normally.

I will go anyways nomatter what, but could be that extending it into August would make it better or that July was the worst month or something.....?

Advice appriciated :)

Cool thanks alot ! if april is the hottest month then its probably heading the right direction in July - it was abit hot combined with the humidity this time. I little bit cooler, then it suit me fine.

Rain is no problem.

Its coldest in Thailand in Decembe as I am sure you know, so logically as April is our hottest month, July should be a bit cooler...but bear in mind that everything is relative...

Although for example, in Chiang Mai and the north in December is truly cold - especially at night - in Bangkok it gets "cold" too - down to the mid 20's sometimes...bloody cold for those who live here...break out the warm showers and the blanket on the bed!

Yes the rain at present is a bit odd - had a doozy the Saturday a week or so ago - flooded Sukhumvit - I was waiting for Grezzzy to come back after a wedding (I didnt want to go) and got stranded in the Londoner...damn! :)

lol - Stranding in the Londoner is fine too !

Mid 20's - not exactly cold in my world. Would there be a difference in the North in July ? or is it more or less the same as everywhere else you think ?
