It’s all about the NINES today!  Happy 9-9-09 at 9:09 am on the 252nd (2+5+2=9) day of the year on Wednesday (9 letters) in September (9 letters)!Information about the nines: According to numerologists, as the final numeral, the number nine holds special rank. It is associated with forgiveness, compassion and success on the positive side as well as arrogance and self-righteousness on the negative.  Other numerologists say it can be seen as both a signifier of endings and beginnings. But more important, it’s the number of humanity, of coming together and helping one’s fellow man. According to Bible, 9 is the number of finality or judgment – the judgment of man and all his works. As per Bible 9 is 3X3 the product of divine completeness. In Japanese, the word for nine is a homophone for the word for suffering, so the number is considered highly unlucky - second only to four, which sounds like death. Historically, ancient Chinese emperors associated themselves closely with the number nine, which appeared prominently in architecture and royal dress, often in the form of nine fearsome dragons. The imperial dynasties were so convinced of the power of the number nine that the palace complex at Beijing’s Forbidden City is rumored to have been built with 9,999 rooms

those are good tony - thx for sharing -- really makes ya think how much people tie into numbers especially the number 13. I read an article by a ticket agent as saying..and sorry I don't have the source handy -- but where on ocassion the number 13 row seat on a plane flying to vegas would go unsold because of the number -- avoided like the plague if I recall the article as saying..
