Police in Belgium are investigating a complaint from a teenager who says a tattooist peppered her face with stars after she asked for only three.Kimberley Vlaeminck, 18, said she fell asleep during the procedure. "I woke up when he was starting to tattoo my nose... I counted 56 stars, it is frightening," she said. Tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz, who is Romanian, said his client did not fall asleep and she got exactly what she had ordered. He rejects Ms Vlaeminck's claim he had misunderstood what she had asked for. "She was awake and looked in the mirror several times as the procedure was being done," said Mr Toumaniantz, who works at Tattoo Box in Kortrijk. He says his client only regretted the tattoos later. "She agreed, but when her father saw it, the trouble started," Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws quoted Mr Toumaniantz as saying. The teenager has told Belgian media she wanted three modest stars tattooed near her eye and she awoke to "a nightmare". Ms Vlaeminck has said she wants to keep the tattoos on her forehead but would have the rest removed.  Tattoo artist said teenager agreed to all the stars

sorry but the girl is full of sh*t. You DONT fall asleep during a tattoo unless you have taken drink or drugs, in which case the tattoo artist would not have done the procedure. Its not as if it is painless!! She has obviously freaked out after and is now trying to dig herself out a hole - silly b*tch!!

Anyone requesting tattoos on there face is stupid to start with. no sympathy for the girl. some people are born with facial disfigurement and it causes them much pain so for someone to pay for that is unspeakable. Oh also if she didn't want it why did she pay for it and not complain till later.

actually most tattooist will not tattoo anyone on their face, unless they know that it wont affect them lifestyle wise.

as for her falling asleep while getting tattooed its pure bs, trust me, i tried falling asleep, its hard the pain wont let you

I guess the government has to make a new law.Never tattoo people under the age of 21 years old,and never tattoo on hands and face regarding there age.

Well . she got her 'moment de gloire' at least. Seems if you google you find about 30.000 links and a lot of channels from abroad want an interview with her. If you hear her talking she speaks a local dialect. So, I suppose her education wasn't that great. And yes, Jerry, she's a star now ........ 53 more than she wanted, lol

BTW ngeun, at the age of 18 you're considered mature in Belgium and responsible for your own deeds. Putting a tattoo or a piercing wherever is your own choice.

ShortyG, I have to disagree with your stance on this. Comparing tattoos and disfigurement just shows where you stand on tattoos. Tatts aren't a disfigurement unless taken to an extreme (or if they're done wrong), they're art. However, as an expression of what an individual you are, they're pretty pointless in this day and age since almost everyone has them now.

Her story about falling asleep is a blatant lie. She probably told her Dad that when he got mad at her to try and take some of the heat off herself, and now it's spiralled out of control to the point where she's left it too late to admit it was her idea.

Good education or not, she lacks common sense, not intelligence.
