Talk to taxi1. go on meter,ask for meter just say "meter" they will understand ... should not go if they say 200 bahts..maybe it is only 45 bahts by meter 2. tell them where you want to go more than 1 time even I speak thai they may bring me to another place then say "I heard you say that" or "I was thinking it was the same place but in another name", and you must say the name of some place near where you want to go make sure they know where exactly it is3. took-took taxi is for fun only .... always expensive ....and .....they pay nothing if you fall down....if you want to have fun like that I recomend "Dreamworld" at Rangsit district .... they pay alots if you die ...... 4. always tell them the direction using these words ... taxi drivers never known where they should go

Sadly I know only few english and I learnt how to put thai sound in english from my primery school... it was 20+ years ago.... and I did not have any degree in english teaching ....
