Some of my friends my dad n' mom told me lately to avoid the public area such as Subway train, BTS, and cinemas...they don't want me to get Influenza A... H1N1 errr yeah.. but they forgot about my work place. There are more than Influenza A. I have chance to get any disease from there if I don't know how to protect myself well enough. I remember I got Chicken pox at the age of 29 for taking taxi after the middle east patients... and it was difference kind of Chicken Pox, it was from Middle East I think. After that I try to avoid taking taxi right after the patient was out... sometime I hail taxi outside the hospital.Back to the topic. For influenza A wearing mask, and washing your hands are important thing. I have  mask and hand rub gel in my pockets. I used them when I go to the risky area, such as the OPD clinic... people who work in the front line wear masks all day. but I think that I save when I work in back office.We can get through SARS so I have no worries about this flu much.My friend said it's rarely to find mask lately... I didn't know that cuz I have seen at Boots a couple of days ago. Anyway, I will order 2 boxes of masks (50 sheets / box) just wanna keep in my store ...The problem which I'm having now... I tried to convince my dad and mom to get flu vaccine but they scared of needle. They said "No way" How to deal with them?

I think you're more likely to die crossing the street, than from flu.

I gotta do that whenever I enter BQ's house !!!!!! at first i thought it was silly..why couldnt I just run and give my niece a hug at once..but i was reminded when she got so sick from whatever for a long period

So now if im at her place, I wash my hand as when I enter, after playing with the puppy, after touching the door knob, before eating, after eating, after touching the remote clicker..etc etc...

Not my job to pay the water bill anyway LOL

Hand washing isn't silly thing, I knew it after I deal with the Infection Control nurses... not only "Flu" that we have to deal with, MRSA too... àª×éô×éÃÂÒ¹èÒ¡ÅÑÇÃÒ¡¡ÇèÒÃÕ¡¹Ã

I asked for mask at the nurse counter (BI) this morning and the nurse said that its out of stock jing jing so I had to ware my old mask :-)

Its easier to convince other people but our parents.... àÎéÃ!!! ˹ѡã¨àËÃ×ù¡Ñ¹ ¾Ù´ËÅÒÂÃúÅÃ

Get me 3 masks for movie tomorrow na.., i will use it wipe my tear.. I think i would cry watching Transformers

Influenza..swine flu...it is just way to pharmaceutical mafia get a profit, selling u vaccine, masks...did every noticed how stocks of big pharmaceutical corporations (like Roche, for instance) are rise in stock market since pandemia of swine flu? Hehee..just try to give u another point of view:)

eventhough there are many risks that cause fatal results its best to avoid them all if possible, when i went to hawaii, there was someone saying more people die from coconuts hitting them on the head than from sharks, which was interesting, but i still dont want to swim with the sharks...as far as being a government conspiracy, i dont believe that to be the case here. Many of our most deadly viruses have crossed from animals to humans, luckily H1 N1 is not as deadly as it was in the late 1800's. The hospital where i work there is an Infectios Disease doctor from Taiwan, he publishes many journals in medical books about how viruses are spread and things of that nature, masks, hand washing, alchoho gel. He told me, that when we take a shower we wash off most of the things that can cause harm, however, inside our nose is where we do not wash and common for viruses to find there way there and stay. His advice was to actually use the alchohol gel inside my nares..... hahhaa i tried it once, and it burned, Who knows, but food for thought !
