Belgian food

I made 'Gentse Waterzooi' (from the city of Gent in Belgium) yesterday. It's kind of a soup with big pieces of vegetables (lot of leek, carottes, onion, potatoes and I putted also peas). Most of the time they put a complete chicken in it, but I prefer pieces of it.

I poured it out and putted celerie and some light cream to finish. God, it was delicious. 2d6nw1.jpg

interesting could you describe how the cream tastes with the soup.. my taste buds cannot picture this or recall the sense..

look good!!!!!!! and it looklikes Thai "chicken soup", which ingredients are... chicken drum sticks or wings or breasts, potatoes, onions, carrots.

and what exactly is that milkywhite topping? light cream? looklike 'coconut milk' to me
