Today my BF and his Mom went to a farm in Middelbeers, which is an upcountry town not so far from Tilburg in Holland. It’s not a farm with cows or pigs but the people have many many fruit trees behind the farmhouse. And now you think ohh probably apples or pears or some other fruit. No, these fruit trees have blueberries! I think many people know ‘kanom’ you can buy at Mr. Donut or 7Eleven which have the blueberry jam inside. They taste very nice! But that jam is made from processed blueberries. The blueberries at the farm are fresh and still sit on the tree. So you can go there and buy the blueberries in a box or, and that is much more fun, you can pick them yourself! So we drove down to the farm, we welcomed by the farm dog and a strong cowshit smell, mèn kiii !! Other farmers around use the poo from their cattle to spray on their fields, to make the soil more fertile. Well at first you think like ohh I want to get out of here!! But after a few minutes you get used to it and you don’t even notice it anymore. The lady who owns the farm gave us three empty buckets and said go ahead! I had never seen real blueberries trees before in my life and these ones were still on the tree WOW! Mom and Patrick were very busy picking the good blueberries but I was very busy with taking pictures and eating the blueberries right off the tree! We collected about 5,5 kilo of blueberries which it was 3 euro per kilo and tonight we are going to eat pancakes with.. guess what!? Blueberries are very healthy and clean your blood and organs, but most important: aroi tee sud! 5555

Those blueberries trees in the farm are so Big. Wild blueberrie's tree in Swedish forest is about 10-15 cms tall, I think. I got to sit down when I pick them, and my legs get numbed after a while. But then they are for free.

Strange ? here in Scandinavia blueberrys grow out in the forest, and on tiny plants thats max 10 - 15 cm high ??? never seen a tree with bluberrys?

Make a fresh bluebeery pie..my FAVORITE! There were lot of bluebeeries harested this year in the eastern US

we were very lucky. Have they blackberries or red respberries where you are?

We ate so many blueberries today, I think we are going to have a tree in our stomach! Wan nee mee kwaam sook and panakes were yummy! JoopJoop ;-)
