Hi All, My friends are going to Angkor Wat this weekend coming and need some advice for hostel or guest house in Siem Riap . I never been there myself but one of our friends went there last month and get a very cheap rate like 7 USD per night ?? I wonder what is like and Is there going to be a high season for tourism by November? Any recommendation for place to stay and tip for traveling would be very much appreciate Thanks Gain

Le Papier De Tigre (Paper Tiger) they have (or had) rooms from 10$ to 25$ a night

If you to go to Pub Street, eat at Paper Tiger. Great steaks there and Pizza. Nice folks and great service. The owner is a real cool old French dude who mareid a Cambodian gal. Both great folks. I've known 'em for 4 or 5 years now. They hook up a mean Jack and Coke. lol

Have fun. I love Siem Reap.

you can get roooms off the way in SR and PP for as low as 2 bucks a night

if you asked me you'll never get the right answer...lol....

Last time I went there 2 yrs ago some new friends I met were staying at the Temple GH which was quite and clean , I think they payed $7-9 a night with TV , fridge and fee internet. Central location, check on the web.
