U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in Bangkok on Saturday, October 10!

The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, known as the “Thunderbirds,” will perform an exciting demonstration of their superior precision aerial moves at a free public air show at Don Muang Airport in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Gate opens at 12:00noon. Show begins at 1:00pm. Public entrance will be at the Fire Lane 4 Gate on the AOT side of Don Muang airport.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds – America’s Ambassadors in Blue – are the premier air demonstration squadron of one of the most elite air forces in the world. They are the best of the best: U.S. Air Force professionals teamed together to present precision aerial maneuvers that exhibit the capabilities of modern, high-performance aircraft and the high degree of professional skills required to operate them.

they are good but probably only about 4th or even 5th best of all the teams worldwide; they fly very tightly but not that exciting at times. Snowbirds probably are the best overall with the Italians close behind and then the Red Arrows...
