"I'm going to kill you!!!!"

 I called the girl I once mentored who has become my very good friend.She was shocked until I explained what had happened to me earlier. A group of super moms brought her kids to school as normal. Yes, we all knew by heart how they were. They let their kids just play, run after the other kids, be bully etc.It was nothing different yesterday. The kids were running around in the lobby causing noise and troubles. Other parents were doing nothing but rolling their eyes and moved their own kids to somewhere else. My manager left to talk to them once. One of the moms stood up to stop the kids ,it was more to me that she just had to do it because she was asked to.She slowly unwillingly panned her face around to see where the kids were while the other moms were talking and giggling.After one minute,I still saw them running around, turning the furniture, being bully and picking on a girl. I was about to say something then my manager said she was going to do it.It came into my skin when an admin staff walked to me and said 'Ms. Nave! you have them in your class tonight!!!'I thought to myself 'hell break lose'But I got them since the very first few minutes. I told them the rules and so and made sure that they could still have fun in my class. And that became my favorite time of the day to find out that they were not that bad. They could be taught and be better !!!!!!!! After class, my manager told me that its the same group that have caused troubles for many terms. The kids make damages but the moms never care to do anything. And last two weeks, they came to yell at the manager when we asked to raise the price. Said that she couldn't survive in this society anymore because she just told her friend the old price and with the new price next year..her friends condemned her that she was a liar and the school needed to stay the current price or give her a special deal just for 'her face'.   So I told the girl on the phone"I'm gonna kill you if you are a mother like that"She laughed and told me that she would not disappoint the grandma! ( when i mentored her she called me 'mom' so now that she has a baby...im kind of a grandma )It is very important to set a good example and that does not mean only at home.If any of you are like them...I'm gonna kill you !!!!!!!!!---------------------------

Thai kids can do what ever they like so it is not a big surprise that they get scared when it come to move out MUMMY!!!

Good journal, kids are happier if they know where the boundaries are, there's a time to behave and a time to have fun.

Something I know that works is you pick one kid and punish the hell out of him to make him an example to the others kids for everything. Oppress the hell out of him to scare the other kids. The other kids kind of just fall into line because they never want to go through what the one kid goes through.

How do I know this works??? Because I was "that kid." I got into trouble at age 5 because I bought a butter-knife to school and all the parents thought I was some thug knife wielding gang member. For a butter knife! I pretty much stayed in trouble until I was 14. It sucked!

Actually I agree with much said. Set very clear boundaries. Enforce them every time. Convey and enforce the rules and boundaries with love but inflexible firmness. They will respect you.

PS Hey if you have one kid that is constantly getting into trouble, will you give him a break every now and then?
