Let's find a chance to help disadvantaged people one more time. We couldn't help all those who need. We are not that rich or have everything generous. so "raise funds" is the best way. Just to let u know and hope u are interested in some part. .........................
More information about "ThailandFriends 3rd Annual Charity Event" We need sometimes for organizing so this event will be done early next year.
Purpose of the Event
This event is held in order to donate funds plus any other useful goods to.... Baan Nontapum (Home for Children with Disabilities) For 39 years, Baan Nontapum has taken care of hundreds of children with multiple disabilities. The home provides these children with accommodation, food plus education. Most of the children living here are homeless, abandoned, or orphaned children aged from 7 to 18 years old, and children from troubled families. Baan Rajawadee (Home for Mentally Handicapped Children)
Established since Decenber 15, 1976
To provide residential care for mentally handicapped boys ranging in age 7-18 years who are orphans, homeless, abandoned and children of distress or poverty-stricken families.
OBJECTIVES
1. To provide services to meet basic needs and other necessary services for mentally handicapped children
2. To provide physical and mental rehabilitation services
3. To provide early stimulation corresponding to physical and installectual abilities of chidren
4. To provide occupational therapy
5. To provide employment placement as deemed individually suitable
And some more foundations as much as we can
(it depends on money/stuffs.) What can be donated to these children?
Money, Wheelchairs, Sacks of rice, cooking oil, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, eggs, milk, Clothing (normal clothes, Long-sleeve shirt and underwear) Things you use on a daily basis, for example; soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, washing powder etc. Basic types of medicine .........................

This event start on Sunday 25th Jan, at 12:01am start fighting for your scores as much as you can pay until Saturday 31st Jan, at 11:45pm I don't mean you have to work for this charity event 24 hours 7 days just when u have free time. I will print screen your scores on Sat 31st, at 11.45 pm. then post in journal or forum so everyone know how much you pay for the charity. While we are voting, if another TFers want to join this charity event (in case they just know or whatever) they can jump in everytime by sign up. Your vote scores, you can check in Weekly Top 100 Members, you know where to check it right? I didn't mean you have to reset all scores from the past you got!!
1 point = 1 baht I know you want to help more than that but it will be hard to check because i will not know how much exactly you send. I want to make it clearly to you that all the money go to the charity not for someone else!! For example, if 100 TFers sign up. An average score is 500 per person/week so we will get money 50,000 baht for the charity. Normally, if you are fighting for the scores you would get more than 500 points per person/week believe me.
