And here it comes again, New Year’s resolution time.  Every year we start to make their resolutions, let it be from losing weight to getting out of debt, either way it’s a promise that that we make to ourselves.  Last year I made a resolution to spend more time to with my parents rather than going out with my friends.  That resolution broke as soon as I boarded that plane to Afghanistan.

This year I want to keep some my resolutions in arms reach.

Resolution # Uno:  Continue to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle.  So far I’ve been doing great on my diet and exercise (Muay Thai).  The only thing that messes me up is when I take my vacations; I tend to splurge more than my body allows me to.

Resolution # Êç:  Learn to read and write Thai.  When I was little my parents tried to teach me how to read and write Thai.  My Dad would come home from work and devote an hour with me and attempt to teach the alphabet-fail.

Resolution # Three:  Photography = LOVE/LIFE.  After my first photography class in high school I started to see things as if my eyes were lenses.  Everything was a picture to me.   Before I enlisted into the Army I wanted to become a photographer and work for National Geographic or some urban magazine.   I been so busy with work, that I’ve hadn’t had the time to go out and take pictures, but this is due partly because most areas here don’t allow picture taking.

So there it is, short and simple.  I say if I can keep one of the three resolutions, I’m good.

What’s your resolution?

The last new year resolution I made was the only one I managed to keep for more than a few days. At the age of 19 (44 years ago now) I resolved never to make any more new year resolutions :-)

First: being less wise arse..

As this year i have had lots comment calling me a wise arse + kuan teen (in Thai) even my doctor said it so..

so my new year solution would be this..

second: Make my heart skipped a beat, many thing fall out during my prolonged. Not devastate in searching but deffo keep my eyes open and ears to the ground.

Third: produce more, picture, writing, connection, social, creativities..

i might have to forget abt my solution no.1 being wise arse is my branding. Uniquely cant vary..

:)

x'mas and new New year (solution) to you man..
