The Australian Govt claims it has had a request from the Thailand Tourist Dept, requesting a warning be issued to Australian tourists considering travelling to Thailand later this month.Now this seems like good advise to me. It makes sense as the Thai Govt thinks there may be some trouble when the verdict on a certain well loved member of the "Elite" now living in a neighbouring country is read out at the end of the month. So you can imagine I was some what surprised to see on our National free to air TV channels a consentrated Add blitz of cheap accommadition and flights to of all places ............... Yep you'rve got it, Thailand.The Thai and Aust govts are saying dont go and the Travel agents are saying Go Go Go. Go figure ???

The decision will just create a lose lose situation as it seems like an all or nothing verdict.

As to the issue in question, it seems pretty obvious what the court's decision would be.

They obviously need to deny him the funds to make a political comeback...he has been out in the cold for some time now, his reserve must be near depleted by now.

Personally, I doubt he could convince his supporters to go out onto the streets on this one - just why would a poor person go out onto the street to protest/fight for a rich person's right to his money?!?

But I believe the court's decision will have an impact on the SET.

My Thai neighbors in Chiang Mai said that the UDD Gang leaders are getting big money from Thaksin or his nominees. The Red Shirts in Chiang Mai seem to be able to do whatever they want, nobody challenged them.
