Getting back in shape. #2 Good and Bad news.

Good news: I lost 4 kilo.

Bad News: It had little to do with working out. 1 day of food poisoning did more for my weight loss than 6 times at the gym. :D

Also, I didn't give muscle memory enough credit here. The parts of my body that were used in gymnastics are catching on quickly; while others that I want to improve that weren't as frequently used are lagging. I am having a hard time getting my legs to look any different, part of that is a knee injury that I am afraid to push to far. The other thing is I always had chicken legs... and so did my dad. (sorry dad!)

My arms, pecks and shoulders look  better. My stomach is slower to shape up but I am starting to see the 6 pack under the layer of jello.

I was so excited I went and spent too much money on a new gym uniform. Running in keds, wifebeaters and old cargo pants... well felt kinda... awkward. I hope I get to use it enough to get the monies worth out of it.

Unfortunately, most of the significant changes can only be seen while I am flexing that particular muscle. When relaxed it goes back to skinny mode. Hopefully week 3 will bring about more visible changes.

I am also thinking about starting to jog in the mornings, or buying a bike and exploring Bangkok. Anyone done this before?

I added new pics. Again I wont post them here, but they do live on picassa:
