Posted an event for Lunchtime Sunday 9th May @ The Sportsman Bar near the Emporioum and Phrom Phong BTS. From 12 to 4pm the bar has Free Pool and Happy Hour beer prices, so starting the event at 1.15pm. If ppl feel this is too early can postpone it too around 2pm, but don't want to start any later than this as want to take advantage of the free pool and happy hour beers. It's a pretty cool bar, with 7 really good pool tables, a decent sunday roast dinner for 195 baht and good thai and western menu which isn't too expensive.

It's meant to be a fun day and the pool playing won't be too serious .... and depending on numbers signing up and I'll ask Rob (manager there) if we can maybe reserve a couple of tables. So don't worry how good or bad ur pool playing is, it'll be a chance to meet up with some old friends (and possibly enemies) and hopefully meet some new faces !!!

I am no longer a sportsman fan and don't recommend it to anyone. Country rd soi 5 have free pool all day and night (everyday and every night). There is 3 brunswick tables.

don't know how to play pool.

don't know what problems u have had there michael, but everyone else i know who has been there has had nothing but good top say about the place. 7 very good pool tables, happy hour beers, friendly staff and pretty good foood.

well neung u can still drink beer (or milk or soda) and sit around chatting with friends. it's not so much a pool eventas a sunday afternoon meet up !!

rob you are still a bit young...suggest you just sip the SODA
