LOL ---watch out for the smooth operators in NYC!

and acting the part of a non=English speaker may afford you

a worthwhile advantage for you, from time to time,

( without being too unfair, of course, to your company at the time)

-----> good that you have some friends to ask for some sincere advice..I hope ..have fun!

Which parts should I have to be aware of ?

Thank you anyway for the advice of smooth operators. To be honest, I never pretend to be unable to speak english. It might because..hmm for example my english friends normally are easy to get to know than myself since I find it is pointless somewhat to get to know everybody or even one person for a specific times, you know what I meant..I hope:)

Also, I have been surrounded by "strang" people lately,I dont think that it is kinda normal to start talking with someone on the street even I am such a slow walker comparatively.Otherwise, it is normal practice here.I will continue to observe.!

Manhattanites typically do not smile at strangers, nor do they even make more than fleeting eye contact. A smile or a prolonged look from a woman is usually interpreted as flirting. Always be wary of strangers who are friendly. A gentleman might occasionally strike up a conversation in a safe place such as a museum or bookstore; but rarely on the street.

Plus, I never smiled at any one first since I came here, since I have been told that it will be one kind of flirting,in case you don't want to be in the situation. All I do was;normally never done in BKK ever, that kept walking as if there is a group of perple chasing me,perhaps made the serious face all the way as well, that what I have seen so far here.

so Exploring ... how did that NYC thing and your American adventure work for you!!! Did you have any new unique experiences; was there any real flirting or did you meet any Americans worth spending time around? I know a beautiful Thai woman could never be lonely or without company if she was in a good mood... I hope we were helpful to you and not boring --- you should come back some day and see more of the country i think O___o!
