I have another sick cat. Feline leukenia is slow and they just wither away. Ol Copper the Kid I call her Copper Kid for short. Copper the Kid is one of the last of the original Whole in the Wall Gang as I call them.  The ones left are a hardy bunch of strays and misfits been coming into my life these last few years.  I live in the woods and all the strays wander past my house. Bob Barker I hear ya. He calls for spaying your cats.  Copper Kid was always first at the door for a head scratch. I got her to eat almost a whole can of salmon tonight but she is weezin now which means its in her lungs. I'm still hoping for her and giving her the love.                                                                                                                                          I've been hanging out on a webcast site http://www.hornbyeagles.com/webcam.htm. There was a pair of eagles and their baby Phoenix. They have a few cameras set up so you cn watch and I've been watching and they have a chat also . I put him on full screen and you can watch him spread his young wings. I liked to watch him and play my gitfiddle. Now back from a few weeks in Denver Jammin and with a sick cat I find out Phoenix has died. I came into the chat and everyone has been morning for a week or so already. I had a friend in Taos getting crushed by good friends and their children dying and here I am bummed about a cat and a young eagle. Life is precious indeed !

I can add another story.... Just yesterday a very good friend and old neighbour of mine's 36 metres very luxury yacht caught fire and sunk off the Turkish shores -

onboard where 18 spanish tourists and 5 crew - one tourist is still missing....

how do you know a cat has leukenia? i'm curious...

Life can be a real ***** for us mere mortals.

I've had other cats who have had it Soda and Copper Kid looks the same with dribble on her chin and a lost look on her face with lack of appetite and now the weezing. I'm not giving up, if she will eat she has a chance. I look up her symptoms on the internet and have used vets also in the past. She still likes her head scratched !
