Stolen Bicycles....

Came back tonight to find our Bikes were stolen from below the BTS in Pleonchit, proper gutted as we both ride them every day, though people have tried in the past no ones ever managed to steal them as they are always locked with tough locks. Their bolt cutters trumped our chains this time though...

Shockingly the police at Lumpini station were more than helpful and drove us up to where there were taken, looked for CCTV and so on, our best bet though is if someone manages to spot them...... I often see guards riding around sois on 100,000 baht bikes.

If you see either of them please give me a call on 0869883302

I had a Honda 250 enduro when lived in Chiang Mai and wore a nice Arai Freeway helmet which I brought from the States. I used to work at McCormick hospital a lot and parked out front. The helmet got stolen. then 2 months later it was put back. It had a couple scratches on it but otherwise it was ok. I guess they didnt like it.

yep, it wasn´t the chain - it was the lock mechanism. Sorry to hear about the ABUS. Thieves tried to steal my bike in front of my office. They tried to crack the lock but the Abus resisted . There have been a few minor scratches on the frame, but the bike was still there.

A milled frame is very much useful in case of theft. If often keeps thieves off. But I guess that does not work in Thailand. However it would help you to prove that you are the legal owner (after you have knocked the thieves head off..)

One fine day this guy will cross you way..
