We warmly welcome Al Gore's enormous carbon footprint to the Central Coast

We warmly welcome Al Gore's enormous carbon footprint to the Central Coast

Welcome to Montecito, Mr Gore. We're sure you'll love our sunny weather, warm water, and your ritzy new digs. According to the Los Angeles Times: former vice president Al Gore and his wife Tipper have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito journal. the couple spent $8.875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. "The Italian style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms". Tsk tsk, Mr Gore. Much as we love you, this is hardly the way to fight global warming. Six fireplaces? Why that's enough to burn a decent-sized forest over the course of a long, cold California winter. Nine Swimming pools? Spa? Fountains? Nine bathrooms? Why that must suck up enough water to irrigate the central valley's fallow fields. Looks to us like you're leaving Tennessee behind, Mr Gore, but bringing your blatant hypocrisy right here to the central coast.

I'm not an Al Gore fan by any stretch but because one has six fireplaces does not mean one has six fires. Also, I'm going to take a wild guess that Gore installs a bunch of energy saving upgrades around the place seeing has how he's Mr. Green.

Seems like a standard global warming denial tactic. Same as whenever they have a big Earth Day sort of fundraiser and someone writes a scathing article about how much CO2 was expended to fly the artists in or the waste to service tens of thousands of fans.
