Stramash 11 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share and just to confuse things further, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are NOT part of the United Kingdom... Quote Link to comment
admin 7 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Perhaps it depends on the definition of the UK because when I flew to the Isle of Man from England I did not have to go through immigration at IOM. Even though Gibraltar is under protectorate status from the UK I still had to pass through Gib immigration. But not when I went from London to IOM. Can you elaborate? I'm not saying you're wrong but what's the difference, technically, that makes IOM and the Channel Islands not part of the UK? Quote Link to comment
Stramash 11 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share They are both dependencies of the British Crown and, as such, have their own parliaments as well as a Governor appointed by the Crown. There would be no need for immigration purely because of their geographical location. Gibraltar is more accurately a British Overseas Territory rather than a protectorate. Confused? Try living here!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment

Stramash 11 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share times have moved on Bill. I even saw one with some acting in it... Quote Link to comment
admin 7 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share I'm not saying I've ever viewed any porn myself but I think you're wrong on that one. Most have actually gone in the other direction. The only acting involved is pretending the girl hasn't already done 1000 porn scenes before when she tells to the camera guy that this is her frist porn scene and that she's only 18. PeterH61 1 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share Note that in the explanation, Northern Ireland is coloured orange - that will REALLY p*ss off the Nationalists as it signifies the Loyalist movement - long story involving 800 years of British colonial claims and a settlement when the Republic of Ireland became independent in 1922 but six counties in the north chose to remain as part of the UnitedKingdom Quote Link to comment
