Snow in Thailand

It's been cold but not snowing cold. But apparently it did get cold enough to snow in Chaing Rai back in 1955.

I think people who view weather anomalies as a sign of something bigger (I heard some banter about the recent cold weather being because of the radiation leak from Japan) should always take into account the long-view of history. :-)

So as snowing in Sapa, Vietnam it happened some years ago I've seen the vid clip in YouTube. The recent snowing is not unusual anymore if it happened in Saigon then that is Doomsday.

All these news re earthquakes and tsunamis scare the hell out of me. The 5.8 magnitude that happened few hours in Philippines the epicenter is nearby to my hometown. We live in an island our house is just few meters away from the beach...so naturally I get worried.
