A helping hand event is a live auction event to raising funds for the children at BaanGerda (BaanGerda is a children's charity that provides homes and care for HIV infected and affected orphans in Thailand http://www.baangerda.org/ ).

The idea is to get TFers together for some nicely Mexican buffet at CharleyBrowns (http://www.charleybrowns.asia/) and everybody can bring his/her unwanted/second-hand item/or items to the event for the auction.

Date : August 27, 2011

Time : Start from 19.00 till the owner of CharleyBrowns kicks us out.

Price : 350bth for the buffet (not including drinks)

*all money from the auction is for the childern at BaanGerda

I might auction off a dinner at this restaurant I just saw called "FUJI." I guess they do Japanese cuisine.
