I love a bit of Elvis - I even went to see the Elvis Live show (which was awesome).

But it's wrong to say 'better than today's music'. My Dad used to say that. But so did HIS Dad.

Music just evolves and suits the generation.

30 years from now, the kids will be saying, 'Oh that was proper music. Not like that garbage you kids listen to.'

Many kinds of musics today, of course, but, and this is personal advice, i found now too often really boring rythms (never vary, all the time the same..), no humor, really too loud sounds and too much bass boost (limit of amplifier saturation - dangerous for the health). Music quality level goes down.

I know a friend working high level in music marketting: he says this is the wish of his boss, to lower the quality in the way that evrybody "can also do it" and indentify himself more easily with his favorite "singers-noise maker": this is why the industry promote the rap, the boring "never vary" rythms and poor words...

Bass boosting is needed to help people "feel" something when the quality is not able to give true emotions, and to hide to people they have nothing to tell each other: too high sound levels helps within this way... Business standarts promote these musics, just to take money ou of as many pockets possible...

Happy there is from time to time good quality, but never bofore the bad quality was also so high...

Ma'am.. Ma'am.. something wrong with my legs...what's wrong with that guys legs..LOL

just kidding..

mos def an Icon..

But just like Sinatra. Elvis was a very charismatic guy. Both, however were way before my time. But I still enjoy. Elvis had a unique act that everyone wanted to copy but just couldn't..

thx for sharing. I really enjoyed that clip..
