I DO have an idea...

Bright light, low iso, fast shutter speed, low fstop. And I think I'd probably have people looking up or pointing at the girl to make it look more realistic.

But I'd prefer to be in the pub.

So finally, they also found out how to make money with this one. isn't it that already for years, Thai and Chinese young people try to get pics when they are in the air while jumping? There used to be several even here on TF and one day in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) I was asked by a group of young people to get them a shot like this.

Although - the pics shown here are a bit more professional than the usual holiday jump shots.

@Kaunitz - It's quite similar but the 'Levitating' posting is more serious. The Japanese girl of the trend setter is posting it everyday and it's not easy to get a pic of it. As I know, she has to take around 60 shots to get a nice pic. I think this girl wanna make her jump shot is more than a usual one and look like she suspends in the air longer than jumping. If you visit her link as I gave above, you can find her daily pic of doing 'Levitating'.

I agree this is very hard and time consuming to do. This photo took this girl 2 hours to acheive

There ARE shadows on the photo above.

The light is bright, from the front and above.

The shadow is behind her on the floor. You can also see the shadow of her head on her shirt.

Low ISO (refers to sensitivity to light) means a sharper image (but needs brighter light). Fast shutter speed 'freezes' the action.

The best method for this is to get a wide aperture (lets in more light), low ISO and fast shutter speed.

Then put the camera on 'continuous shooting mode'. Take loads of shots while jumping about like an idiot. Then choose the one that looks best.

But seriously, the girl may be jumping about like an idiot. But I must say Natsumi is very creative and clever

However, I am still looking for like maybe a shadow on the wall, the street or something. I clearly see defined shadows on her. Maybe you or someone could point out the shadows that you see for me. It's probably because of this technique, as you say the ISO and the brighter light in all, that all the shadows are not distinct. I might add her depth and sharpness of her body image with this technique is awesome.
