My strange neighbour Part IV

About an hour ago, I was minding my own business…. being happy on my own after a long day at work by mowing the lawn.

While I was working around in my garden with a lawn mower, suddenly my dogs were restless. They ran to the back of the garage and barked. I stopped the lawn mower and looked at them. Then I found my neighbour standing behind the garage looking at me. I was shocked and quite angry. “What the hell is this all about?†I shouted at him. He didn’t reply but walked back to his house. He was talking to himself while he was walking back. I couldn’t catch what he said. Then I saw him hitting his lawn with some kind of stick like a mad man.

This is where he was standing and looking at me..

Again, I reported him to the police and again, the police can’t do anything much since he didn’t hit me with a stick just yet.

I might get a new dog and train it to bite someone, my neighbour specially.

The fence issue isn’t yet finished…still waiting for the “landinspectørâ€...and... I’m getting restless!!!!!

DN : yep... I cook, I clean, I mow the law and I work for my money. My hubby can't be more proud. ;)

FH : Scary indeed. Next time I will do something seriously, not just report him to the police.

That's the bad news: As long as he does not threaten you as defined in the law or enters your premises, you can't do anything about it legally. unfortunately, Nowadays it's not seen well to use a hazel tree stick like in the 19th century and laws pretend that anyone is able to learn by other means than pain..... :(

Put some security cameras up covering your own property.

Two things will happen...

1 He will see them and curb his behavior.

or

2 He will try to damage them.

If it's 1 - problem solved.

If it's 2, you can call the police because he has committed a crime.

Keep a log of everything that happens - dates, times, events. Not just on TF, something that doesn't include your personal feelings. One day you will almost certainly be in court. This will be your evidence.

Good luck.

Keep a log of whom you spoke with from the police, time, date, etc. Remind the police that this is an ongoing issue, and that you do fear for your life. A stretch of the truth, perhaps, but that will get their attention. Good luck.

Seem he always breaks the rule and doesn't obey the law.

We have a neighbour like this too. The moment a tiny little thing goes wrong he's off shouting and hitting things, then will complain to the office. His latest rant was he got pissed off because the cleaner watered his plant outside of his apartment.

1, he shouldn't be turning the corridor into a rainforest.

2, plants need water to survive, which he doesn't seem to grasp.

So in the end he picked the plant up and threw it off his balcony. Yaba can turn people nuts.

On the other hand he, puts candles outside his room, makes a mess, has his door open, TV is on loud all day, fills the corridors with the smell of weed and has a bird that squawks all day long.

When we complained the office might as well of laughed at us, as they won't deal with him.

And yes, we are going to move veeeeery soon.

Oh and Nicky, be careful. EB made a good point about the security cameras.

When it comes time to buy, I'm going to give the would be neighbours a questionnaire.

1st would be. Do you or anyone in this household use or harbour drugs?

2nd, Do you or anyone in this household suffer from mental illness.

if the answer is yes to one or both questions the 3rd would be. Wanna party?
