Gut Feeling or Logic?

I have just received a good news. I got an offer from one very good company in my field. I have every reason to accept the job, be it better salary, benefit, training or company structure. But I am not excited about this new job at all. I don't have the feeling of joy that a new change normally brings on me.

The only 2 things that this current job offers is the less stressful environment and a better name to carry with when I move to the UK. Apart from these two the new company is much better in every way, esp. job stability.

Should I trust my gut feeling or should I be more logical in my decision?

It sounds like you are happy in your current job.

Happiness in your working life is a HUGE benefit.

If you enjoy your job and have good friends around you, it's worth more than money and prestige.

I used logic at first when it comes to conflicts with my feelings . I tried what makes sense to me. Eventually , I make final decisions based on gut feeling. Logic is not all the time that makes me happy . Gut feeling does.Hope it helps you a bit :)

Point is I am not happy working here either. It is just weird that my gut feeling doesn't tell me to leave.

I eventually chose the more logical option and negotiating a little bit more cash in return of my labor. I now hope the company agrees. At least I took the chance that is given to me. If it doesn't turn out the way I expect it to be, the worst part is to stick around for a few more months before moving to the UK.

I guess logic is the way to go in this case.

Thanks for all your feedback. I truly appreciate it.
