Today Melbourne was voted the world's most liveable city by http://www.eiu.com/public/

As I haved lived here all my life (I am bias) we have some great sporting events here F1 Grand Prix in March Aussie Open Tennis in January Cricket in Dec etc etc !!!!!

We have some world class resturants nice cafes, the only thing I don't like about living here is the weather cold in winter but as most people say here if you don't like the weather wait one minute (it will change) I wish it was warmer all year round!!!!! Melbourne is very multicultural it has the biggest greek population outside of Greece and also the biggest Italian population outside of Italy!!!!!!

The beer is pretty good to from all parts of the world (Even Scotland) !!!!!!!!!

That's funny! Just a few months ago there was a ranking (obviously another one but I don't know by which organization) putting Vienna on top (well, I am bias, too!) before Zurich. Maybe they have two polls for Northern and Southern hemisphere? ;) However, no pun intended and congratulations for this ranking. Not knowing your city, I can't tell anything about it (unfortunately - but Australia still is on my to-do list!).
