Traffic on a section of the Asian Highway in Ayutthaya is paralysed after the road was submerged by overflow from the Lop Buri River yesterday. The scene was captured during a helicopter survey by the Air Force’s Civil Affairs Department. SURAPOL PROMSAKA NA SAKOLNAKORN

This is a pic from Bangkok post website.

plus large amount of water from Bhumipol dam was release at midnight lastnight. So can't imagine what will happen next.

I heard it will reach Nonthaburi in 8 hrs. (from midnight) so it should be there 9 am. (I guess)

and reach Minburi, Nongjok BKK. in 12 hrs.

As I posted on my FB wall lastnight. My village is in bad situation, no one our cars at home... one of my new car, nong Meena is at my workplace, and another one I parked in front of my village...

Water level in the river is higher than my head... the walls would be broken lastnight but Nonthaburi governer sent his staff to help us around 10 pm. but not sure how long it can handle.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that the water isn't coming :-)

Thailand never seems to catch a break. If it's not the bird flu, H1N1, tsunami, protests, or coups something else happens like floods. Let's just hope people stay safe (and dry) and that the media is hyping it up bigger than it really is.

Keep dry, Neung. Either that or buy some scuba gear :-)

p'Bill, I try to keep cool, I mean my mom's so worried about this...

Yeah! I agree about Thailand, never get a break, and now red shirts don't wanna stop their actions. I haven't talked about Nesat, Nalgae attack SEA.

My friends work in factories in Ayutthaya... they have evacuate plans...

Many factory workers get daily pay, that means they will have no income. They can't stay at the dorms and can't go back to thier hometown. Na song sarn.

Anyway, p'Ciaran, if i rent you those stuff will you train me to use 'em?
