Today i have bought 2 cucumbers at Tesco Lotus because tomorrow i am planning to make a Greek Tsaziki. But i would never store them in a fridge, always at room temperature.

Just look how a supermarket stores them. Do the same and nothing won't be wrong.

Sorry...

The cucumber you have requested does not exist or is no longer available.

You are welcome and by the way, same same applies for tomatoes!

One of the most common food storage mistakes, made by a large number of people, is keeping tomatoes in the refrigerator.

It is wrong to assume that storing tomatoes in refrigerator keeps them fresher for longer; in actual fact, the opposite is true.

Refrigeration makes them mealy after only a couple of days and gets rid of their flavor. ;)

Try this (improved recipe for Thailand):

2 cucumbers

2 Dutchie plain yoghurt

1 sour cream

garlic as much as you like

salt

white pepper

1 tablespoon vinegar

Cut the cucumbers in half and remove the seeds with a spoon. Then cut the cucumbers in small cubes and let them drain for 2 hours (There will be a lot of water coming out).

Mix all ingredients together and let it blend in the fridge for a couple hours.

Goes very well with kind of grilled style pork, dog, cat or crocodile.

They must have been ordered to remove it by the Cucumber Commission
