So, we got snowed in the other day, and have had no power or heat or food really, for 3 days. Well, we did have some canned food, but thats to keep you going more than anything. Beans, anyone? So, took a chance this morning and drove the 4x4 down a very steep .5 km driveway to see if we could get into town, and the road was clear so here we are! I'm staying at my stepdads office and half the Island is out of power, but we have power, tv, cable, internet etc, and are quite near the grocery store so it seems like our little effort payed off. But, am I as baan-nok as a girl from lil Singburi? hehe. Yeah, the trees get very heavy with wet snow, and then it makes them fall on the power lines, so we have to wait until someone clears the snow, so you can get an electric crew in. fun fun.
